LA ESENCIA
THE JANS GRAVEL is a non-competitive sports event focused on gravel adventure in Menorca
A 95km off-road route to discover the most unknown landscapes and routes on the island. The departure and arrival point will be at the Es Castell football field. The Jans Gravel owes its name to the British heritage of Menorca. One of the values of this type of event is to combine sport with history, culture and the tasting or promotion of local gastronomic products. Nothing better than at the end being able to taste a good Mahón Menorca Cheese with Menorca wine.
The Jans Gravel opens its registration on March 25, 2024.
The Jans Gravel will be part of the Balearic Gravel Series along with already consolidated events such as the “Boc Gravel Ride” or some newly created ones such as "Xeixa Gravel Mallorca".
LA RUTA
The Jans Gravel starts in front of the Es Castell football field and runs through different paths in the south, center and north of Menorca. Passing by the main British architectural legacies or passing through the famous "Camí d'en Kane".
There are two different tracks to adapt to all participants.
The yellow route is 45km with 75% Gravel roads and the black route is 95km and 85% Gravel roads.
Participants can download their track along with registration and can enjoy two technical help points and recharge their batteries with solid and liquid supplies.
